Our Story

Wild Prairie was built for real western life — the kind rooted in ranch work, rural community, long days, and the pride that comes from living the lifestyle every day.

We’re not here to chase trends or dress up western for show. Wild Prairie is built around the life we actually live — cattle, agriculture, small towns, hard work, and finding pieces that hold up both in and out of the arena, barn, pasture, and everyday life.

Hey, I’m Michelle — the owner of Wild Prairie.

I grew up on a large ranch in southern Saskatchewan, and agriculture has always been a major part of my life. When I started building my own herd, Wild Prairie Cattle Co came to life.

In 2020, I started designing custom ranch-inspired clothing. That small creative idea turned into something much bigger — and laid the foundation for what Wild Prairie is today.

While I don’t design much anymore, my passion for western fashion hasn’t gone anywhere. Now, I focus on curating pieces that reflect real rural life — bringing in brands I believe in and supporting other small businesses along the way.

I live and work in the agriculture industry and am deeply involved in my community. I know how frustrating it can be to drive hours just to find what you need. That’s why my goal with Wild Prairie is simple: to build a store that brings it all closer to home.

Clothing, tack, livestock supplies, and more — all rooted in the lifestyle we actually live every day.

If there’s something you wish you could find here, I want to hear it. This store is built for this community, and I’m always looking for ways to make it better.

Because Wild Prairie has never just been about a boutique.

It’s about building something real — for the people who live this life, too.
