About Us

Hey there! My name is Michelle and I am the heart and soul behind Wild Prairie. I grew up on a large ranch in southern Saskatchewan, and when my partner and I started our own herd, Wild Prairie Cattle Co was born. In 2020, I began designing custom ranch-inspired clothing, and that creative start laid the foundation for what Wild Prairie has grown into today.

As life has gotten busier, I don’t design as much as I once did, but my passion for western fashion is still at the heart of everything I do. Now, instead of creating it all myself, I love supporting other small artists and makers by bringing their work into the shop alongside carefully chosen brands that reflect the rural lifestyle I grew up with.

I live and work in the agriculture industry and am also a very active volunteer in my community. I know firsthand how hard it can be in rural Saskatchewan to find everything you need without making a trip to the city. My dream for Wild Prairie is to change that—slowly growing into the go-to stop for clothing, livestock supplies, tack, and more right here at home.
